This three month coaching program will walk you through the process of creating a screenplay designed for a microbudget feature film. If you follow this step-by-step program you will have a solid feature screenplay by the end that you can shoot for very little money. You don't have millions of dollars, you don't have Hollywood connections but what you can have is a great, fresh film that is unbound by all the usual barriers that are imposed upon films that need to recoup those millions and satisfy the Hollywood profit machine. And key to having a successful microbudget feature is to have a really great script - this is the free part that isn't subject to time pressure, like when you're in production. Now is the time to make sure you have a really solid story that will work on-screen.
I brought to this program all my many years of experience as a development executive, reading hundreds of scripts every year, working with writers to develop their scripts to be the best they possibly could be. As well, I am also a screenwriter and microbudget filmmaker with numerous credits and awards. I have also taught screenwriting at prestigious universities in Canada and at filmmaker workshops. So I understand intimately the script development process from both sides.
